“This Mediterranean-inspired collection is envisioned to feel lighter, in terms of materials and construction, but it also shows how women want to dress after summer sunsets,” she said. “Aquatic semi-sheers, underwear flashing dresses, white dressing and pastels dominate the palette to represent innate primal feelings.”
Growing up so close to the Mediterranean Sea, the colors of the sunsets and sunrises in this region are core to her memories. It’s ripe with inspiration for the designer, and a source of her poetic flair. “Terra meets the aquatic depths in a perfect balance, where land and sea fuse in a loop of rhythm; liquid and solid, eternal and primal,” said Özel.

Drawing on inspiration from her own travels, Özel features rich terra and aqua shades, which create a palette inspired by earthly pleasures. The collection features flowing silky jersey drapes, influenced by the soft waves of the Aegean shores, which are designed in tones reminiscent of sand and sea.

“A bold, primal edge shows ferocity through prints of wild felines and iridescent scales of pythons. Moonbeam inspired silver silhouettes and sunbeam inspired gold silhouettes bring a sense of luxury and light; reflecting the balance between the tranquility of Mediterranean days and the hedonistic allure of its nights.
Meanwhile, the brand’s High Summer 2025 collection is called “The Serpent” and taps into our hunger for adventure, starting from Istanbul. The collection draws inspiration from picturesque nature, and a wanderlust adventure with island hopping and sun-kissed aperitifs. The collection blends together the most opulent moments that summer brings, along with sea sparkles and shimmering sequins, diamond-cut crystals and snakeskin felt. The video to promote the latest collection was shot on a yacht, featuring a glittery silver dress from the collection, as well as thigh high zebra print boots called the Ilkyaz boots in Zebra Pony. It includes the Catroux Dress in Mediterranean Sand, the Isadora in Midnight Sky and the Dua in Film Noir.
