Long considered one of the quintessential festival outings on the European stage, Primavera Sound Barcelona draws inclusive crowds in with their picturesque city-meets-sea-side location at Parc Del Fòrum, as well as its peerlessly eclectic, star-studded line up. After last year’s weighty extravaganza with Lana Del Ray, SZA and Troye Sivan among the big-hitters, it looked difficult for the festival to up the anté once again. But in this forthcoming 23rd edition—set to take place from 5th to the 7th of June 2025—they’ve well and truly done it again.

Pop has never been cooler or so artistically resonant—just look at these headliners. Three women who need no introduction, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are all set to descend onto the sea-front of Spain, a show of intent from the festival who remain, more than ever, at the tip of the zeitgeist. 147 names in total have been announced, with the festival continuing their commitment in championing equality in their line-up, a feat they’ve achieved consecutively since 2019. Cutting edges acts from every genre from hip hop to metal, country to techno litter the featured cast, with standouts including: Fontaines D.C., LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, Joy Orbison, Clairo, FKA Twigs, Denzel Curry, Wet Leg and Jamie xx.
