Last Wednesday, Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen’s highly anticipated World War II drama Blitz finally made its debut, kicking off the 2024 London Film Festival. Offering a fresh take on the widely covered events of the era, the story follows nine-year-old George, played by industry newcomer Elliott Heffernan, as he’s evacuated to the English countryside for safety during the war, separated from his working-class mother Rita, portrayed by Saoirse Ronan.

Harris Dickinson, Benjamin Clémentine, and Kathy Burke also join the stellar cast, as does British singer-songwriter and Dior ambassador Celeste—who takes Wonderland on an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her preparations for the big night in London.
