Multi-faceted artist Jairic has unveiled his impactful new single, “Stick Figaro”, accompanied by a vibrant visual.
Raised in Detroit and now based in Cannes, rising artist and producer Jairic has a mosaic of musical and cultural influence at his back. He began producing hop hop for local Detroit artists before stepping out into his own soundscape in recent times, influenced by the likes of Eminem and Macklemore.
This latest track, “Stick Figaro”, is cinematic and boisterous, with heavy trap percussion combining with riotous, heavily distorted guitars, whilst the flows are slick and the lyricism vivid. The accompanying video, directed by Bastien Lablanc, is gritty and trippy.
On the track, the artist shares, “Stick Figaro is built on reversal. At first it feels like I’m the one running, but when the hook comes back you realize I’m the one chasing. That’s the heartbeat of the track—chaos turning into control, the hunted becoming the hunter. It’s raw energy, heavy and unfiltered, but underneath it’s also a mirror—every bar a spark, every line a fire.”
