The face of Narciso Rodriguez’s latest campaign, we connect with model-of-the-moment Angelina Kendall to soak up her best beauty tips on self-care, fashion week chaos and must-have essentials.

What did your life look like at 19? If you’re anything like Brazilian-Australian model Angelina Kendall, it involved magazine covers, runway shows and, oh yes, being the face of an iconic fragrance brand. From Paris to Milan, she’s the one to watch – striding through fashion season with mile-long limbs and sun-kissed skin, all the way to fronting Narciso Rodriguez’s latest fragrance campaign, for her eau de parfum intense.
The synergy couldn’t be more perfect. Daring, warm, ambitious and flat-out stunning, for her is fragrance bottled for the modern woman – created by perfumer Sonia Constant with a core of musk, laced with peach, Calabrian bergamot, white florals and red spider lily to complete the olfactory journey. Anchored by amber, vanilla and moss, it’s a silver platter of sensuality and longwear – perfect for colder days.
“Angelina possesses a rare, flawless and timeless kind of beauty,” says Rodriguez. Naturally, we had questions for such a muse. On the heels of the campaign launch, we caught up with Kendall to talk all things beauty – and for her. Keep reading…

Talk us through your daily skincare routine.
I wash my face twice a day with a gentle cleanser. I always follow this with a hydrating toner, eye cream and moisturiser. I also swear by using a balm or oil cleanser if removing make-up. My non-negotiables are also wearing lip-balm 24/7, and perfume before leaving the house.
What are your three ride-or-die beauty products?
Lip balm, sunscreen and hand cream.
What does self-care look like for you?
To me, self-care is about honouring both your physical and mental needs. It’s about getting outdoors or pampering yourself with a relaxing spa day, as much as recharging your social battery and reconnecting with your loved ones.
How would you spend the perfect day off?
To me, the perfect day off would be set on a sunny day. I’d spend the morning with my family at the beach – they would watch me surf and the conditions would be just right. For lunch, I’d meet my friends an amusement park and it would be magically empty, so we’d blaze through the rides. Later on, we would get matcha and lunch, and go for a coastal walk. To cap off my perfect day, I’d have pre-drinks at my place and my friends and I would get ready to go out and boogie the night away at some club. Bit jam-packed but what can I say? Perfect days aren’t for lounging about!
What are the three values that are most important to you?
Kindness, determination and loyalty.
What mantra do you try to live by?
Your reality is a reflection of what you put out into the universe. Practice kindness and forgiveness and you will be at peace.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Everything, in time. Also, everyone’s living their life for the first time too.
You have 24 hours left on earth and can go anywhere. Tell us your plan.
I honestly don’t know how I would react to this. So many possibilities, but in the end all quite pointless! I think I would go back to Australia to see my family and swim one last time at the beach, or I would tell my friends and family to meet me in Japan – I’ve never been but it’s at the top of my bucket list. I would also definitely go skydiving – if I’m only going to be around for 24 hours, I may as well do something fun!
What’s your absolute dream project – either in your industry or outside of it?
A dream project would be to document the behind-the-scenes of fashion week in all its chaos and excitement. The whole industry is so detached from reality, and I think it would be interesting to show a sliver of it to others who are curious.
What’s your ultimate life hack?
All the travel and change in routine really affects my digestion, so one thing I can’t live without, is probiotic shot – I take it every morning. I also always try to sneak pre- or probiotic foods into my meals or boost their nutrients some other way. Use kefir instead of milk if you make oats, super sprouts in salads and cook your grains with bone broth.
What are your interests and passions outside of modelling and fashion?
Growing up in Australia, I’ve always loved being outdoors. When there’s an opportunity to, I love to hike and surf. In August, I went to Sri Lanka and surfed for the first time in a year and a half. Safe to say, it’s not like riding a bike – I’ve gotten pretty rubbish but I still enjoy it. Since moving away though, I’ve recently taken quite a liking to bouldering. Some of my friends took me, and I found I really enjoyed the physical challenge and mental clarity you get from climbing.
Did you always know that you were destined to be a model?
Honestly, no! My mum likes to say “I always knew you would be a model”, but I didn’t ever expect it would actually happen. She got a few cards and people remarking that she should get me involved in the industry, but she wanted to wait until I finished school and to see if It ever piqued my interest. I strived to have a more traditional job, until I was scouted.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?
In 10 years, I’ll be 29. I hope that I will still be involved in a career that I am proud of and motivated by, but hopefully one that’s a bit more stable. I don’t know where modelling will take me and it’s been crazy and life-changing in only two years, so who knows what my future holds? I would love to be thinking about settling down and building a family in my 30s, so hopefully that will be on the cards by then. Honestly, as long as I’m generally content with my life, I don’t mind what my day-to-day will look like, so let’s see where the wind blows!
