Independent Music Awards have announced their nominations for the 2025 ceremony, with Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg, Ezra Collective and many more making the cut.

A cornerstone of the UK awards ceremony circuit with a focus on supporting the best in grassroots culture, Independent Music Awards are back with nomination news for 2025’s shindig, with a plethora of rising and established names on the ballot.
Best Independent Album sees Irish quintet Fontaines D.C. rewarded for their brilliant fourth record, Romance, as well as underground hero John Glacier’s Like A Ribbon, Ezra Collective’s triumphant Dance, No One’s Watching and more.
Best Independent Track sees new XL Recordings signee Jim Legxacy’s “father” receiving the nod alongside Wet Leg’s “Catch These Fists”, and Wunderhorse’s “The Rope”. Elsewhere in UK Independent Breakthrough, Ninja Tune’s corto.alto and Glass Beams are both in the running.
