The Dare – “Tambourine”
New York party starter The Dare has announced a new instrumental EP, “Freakquencies Vol 1” will be released later this month — a culmination of his notoriously raucous club series of the same name. First single “Tambourine” is an intoxicating delight.
ENNY – “Cabin Feva”
It’s been long-awaited but has it been worth the wait? Hell yeah. ENNY’s first new music in two years flaunts a potent artistic progression. “Cabin Feva” is complex in its lyrical ideas, dexterous in its flows and powerful in its message. One of UK rap’s most important artists is well and truly back.
Lutalo – “Cracked Lip”
Minnesota-raised, Vermont-based singer-songwriter Lutalo announces a deluxe edition of their excellent debut album The Academy is coming in September. They share a reflective, nocturnal new single plucked from it, “Cracked Lip”, with intricate guitar work and smooth vocal runs.
Rema – “Kelebu”
Continuing to thrive at the cutting edge of Afrobeats, Rema is back once again with an upbeat new single, “Kelebu”. A victory lap and an artistic statement, the bouncy number is the Nigerian heavyweight at his very best.
Porij – “I’m Your Lover (Only)”
House-y, euphoric dance music that’s playful and genre-pushing, “I’m Your Lover (Only)” is a welcome return from Porij. It’s very Ibiza but through an intellectualised lens, a combination that doesn’t feel natural but damn well works.
Chloe Slater – “Harriet”
A delicious piece of sonic fan fiction, Chloe Slater pays homage to Sally Rooney’s Normal People with a gorgeous cut, “Harriet”. The cut carries a weighty emotional punch, an indie rock bop with walls of guitars and colourful melodic resonance.
Knucks – “Cut Knuckles”
Amongst the most critically revered and publicly adored rappers in the UK, Knucks is back with news of a fresh album on the way, sharing an inaugural teaser single from the project. “Cut Knuckles” is subtle and searing, a personal and reflective cut that suggests a more introspective pivot for the forthcoming record.
Tiwa Savage x Skepta – “On The Low”
Afrobeats songstress Tiwa Savage enlists London’s finest Skepta for one of the most fruitful collaborations of the summer. The pair go back and forth atop the elastic backdrop, with great chemistry and individual performances.
Rose Gray ft. Shygirl and Casey MQ – “Everything Changes (But I Won’t)”
Augmenting the focus track from her excellent January debut album Louder, Please, Rose Gray enlists Shygirl and Casey MQ for a revamped edition of “Everything Changes (But I Won’t)”. It’s a deeply impactful dance pop cut, with three distinctive artist personalities coming together seamlessly.
George Riley – “More”
The ever enigmatic and endearing George Riley is back with a tongue-in-cheek takedown of the overt consumerism that surrounds us. “More” is a stinging, sensation sonic and visual experience, plucked from a forthcoming project exploring what it means to be a woman in the modern day.
Radio Free Alice – “Toyota Camry”
The Naarm/Melbourne crooners disrupting the UK indie consensus, Radio Free Alice are one of the hottest indie bands in the underground. Latest single — ahead of a forthcoming EP in a few weeks time — “Toyato Camry” glistens with bright guitars, spinning lyrical introspection and chiselled sonic identity.
Bliss Samsa – “Easy To Be Around”

Dublin artist Cruel Sister has shared an ambitious and idiosyncratic EP, “A CORPSE IS TALKING”. Lead single “RAW” epitomises the odd beauty of the project, with atmospheric textures, haunting tone and heady vocals.
The Two Lips – “clue”
Fresh off the back of supporting Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park, LA indie pop twosome The Two Lips share a dreamy slice of pop bliss. “clue” fulfils the current sonic status quo with craft and charisma, with gorgeously gentle vocals and bittersweet instrumental backing.
Haviah Mighty ft. Shantel May – “Lucky”
Toronto rapper Haviah Mighty joins forces with R&B star Shantel May on “Lucky”. Driven by soulful vocals and razor-sharp bars, the track dives into themes of mutual appreciation and the deeper need for genuine care. Co-produced by John Fellner, KTOE, and Haviah, it marks the third release in her powerful V2 Healing Era.
Dutch Mustard – “Life”
Colourfully chaotic, Dutch Mustard — moniker of Sarah-Jayne Riedel — return with the frantic “Life”. With crunchy guitars, ethereal vocals and snappy, pacey drums, it’s well worth a spin or two.
Mr. Beale – “Glided”
This new cut from enigmatic newcomer Mr. Beale is excellent. Atop a backdrop of atmospheric textures and complex rhythms, the artist glides, often barely above a whisper in volume, subtly digging into an intimate narrative.

Houston-born and Los Angeles-based rock artist De’Wayne drops his excellent new full-length record june. Lead single “forever” is a crowd-pleasing cut with disco-tinged instrumental and a euphoric hook.
Only The Poets – “Guess She’s Cool”
Indie pop group Only The Poets release “Guess She’s Cool”, a cut that’s proving busy on their busy festival run this summer. With bittersweet timbre and a strong vocal showing, it’s an undeniable new augmenter for the Reading band.
Cristina Hart – “Thank You For Leaving”
Pop rock supernova Cristina Hart, fresh from supporting Louis Tomlinson in Zurich, unleashes a new single, “Thank You For Leaving”. The lyrics cut through the pensive instrumental tone, with Hart’s vocal performance powerful and serene.
