She’s short, she’s sweet, she’s chock-full of milkshake hues, go-go boots, and an armoury of oh so sexy lingerie garments. She is, of course, Sabrina Carpenter, the pint-size pop queen whose 60s wardrobe and not-so PG humour has stolen hearts worldwide. After kicking off her world tour back in September, Carpenter’s styling team has served up an iconic array of tour looks, as fans are left wondering what colourway her outfits will revolve around each night. She’s flaunted barely-there corseted fits in pale pink, buttermilk yellow, and lilac iterations, with a generous helping of diamanté embellishments, and occasionally donning a lipstick kiss stain (or twenty, think Manchester night one).

Now, we’re in the midst of her Europe leg of the tour, and the wardrobe team are amping it up a notch: kicking off her first night in Dublin with an Emerald green bodysuit, Carpenter set the tone for what was to come. Enter union jack themed outfits for London, tartan bodysuits in Glasgow, and Betty Boop polka dot bodysuits in Paris.

But what would she be without the help of her styling squad? Led by A-list celeb stylist and longtime collaborator, Jared Ellner, the duo began working on Carpenter’s tour outfits in Summer, referencing Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe in There’s no business like show business as key inspirations. Sabrina is channelling her inner 60s, bee-hived, mod muse, and the hype for her shows have sky-rocketed, known for her ever-changing wardrobe, the tour is structured as a three-act show, with the help of three external designers. Dabbling in her fair share of collaborations with other designers along the way, Sabrina’s tour nights have become an ever-so special night to remember. Read on to step inside the Short n’ Sweet tour wardrobe:

Act I: The Short n’ Sweet tour in Victoria’s Secret

Getting the ball rolling is none other than Victoria’s Secret, the mother hen of all things sexy. Sabrina’s tour begins with a tasteful backing track, with her smash hit Taste booming through the arena, as she runs on stage caught off-guard, wrapped in a bath towel, which is hastily removed to reveal a custom corseted bodysuit; courtesy of VS. It’s arguably become one of the most iconic moments of the tour, and foreshadows the costumes which will make appearances later throughout the night. She later shrouds the corset in a mesh negligee in a matching colour, it’s ever so babydoll and we’re obsessed.

Flirty tights by Phantasy

Peeking out under her VS number, Carpenter keeps fans on their toes, as the LA-based clothing brand Phantasy teams with the bedazzled bodysuit to create a matching garter belt and custom flirty pair of tights. Each night riffs on a different song, with cheeky lyrics featuring in a calligraphic font, on Carpenter’s upper thigh. Taste me, Moanin’ and Bitchin, and The ceiling fan is so nice, to name a few.

Act II: Sabrina After Dark in Patou

Described as her ‘conversation pit’, Act II of the Short n’ Sweet show takes us to some serious sleepover vibes, as Carpenter sports a custom black capri catsuit by French fashion label Patou. Grab your popcorn, get your gossiping ready, and crack down to some spin the bottle, as Sabrina and her dance squad AKA The Sweethearts spin the bottle to reveal the surprise cover song that she serenades the audience with. Following suit with her Act I outfit, Patou’s offering comes drenched in crystals, a pastel coloured feather boa (and matching bow on the catsuit), finished with a lace trim at the bottom of the capris.

Custom Louboutin heels

Now for some recent additions! After her quick stint performing at the Brit awards, which was fittingly teamed with a swarm of Beefeaters, Carpenter has been donning a pair of Louboutin’s red-bottoms ever since. Her second leg of the tour in Europe commenced in March, and for Act II the singer wears a pair of Mary-Jane heels, as Loubouton’s iconic red colourway teases itself on the bottom.

Act III: Don’t Touch That Dial! In custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin

Rounding out the night, Jean Paul Gaultier’s most recent guest designer, Ludovic de Saint Sernin serves up dessert, as Sabrina’s final outfit comes with nine different pieces. After ‘arresting’ different audience members for being ‘too hot’, her maxi skirt conveniently drops to the ground, revealing her final outfit: a halter neck and miniskirt two-piece covered in swarovski crystals. Inspired by a dress Sabrina saw at the ABBA Voyage experience, Sernin’s outfit then leads into Juno, accompanied by a pair of Naked Wolfe platform go-go boots.

Union Jack themed platform boots by Sinead Gorey

London was calling and Sabrina answered! Paying homage to the Brits, for her London performance Sabrina swapped her espresso for an Earl grey brew, partnering with London-based designer Sinead Gorey to create a pair of union jack boots. Red, white and blue all over, her platform knee-high boots worked in tandem with Sabrina’s white two-piece for the night, making the boots all the more of a standout.

Phillies themed baseball jersey

For her Philadelphia performance back in October, Sabrina made it a night to remember, only the best for her hometown! Harking to the Phillies’ baseball team colourway, Sabrina stunned in a fitting red bodysuit, and if that wasn’t enough, she donned a custom baseball jersey at the end. Crafted by LA-based label Natashia Studio, with red pinstripes, a diamanté-covered Phillies logo, and Carpenter’s name emblazoned on the back, Sabrina sported the jersey whilst performing Espresso at the end of the night.

A wise old owl (or a five-foot Sabrina Carpenter), once told us, ‘He’s thinking ‘bout me, every night’, and yes, yes Sabrina, we most certainly are. If there’s ever an opportunity to wear a bedazzled bodysuit and knee-hight five-inch platforms in our day-to-day schedule, we’ll be the first ones joining in.
