Valentine’s Day is about to get a fierce makeover, thanks to Emma Kern. The Los Angeles native is set to release her new single, “CVNTY,” on February 14 via Sparta/Warner Music Group. Marking her first commercial release since her debut EP 80 Fenway, which racked up over 2.5 million global streams, “CVNTY” heralds a bold new chapter for the artist.
Five years may have passed since 80 Fenway (appropriately named after an apartment building adjacent to Berklee College of Music), but Kern hasn’t been idle. Instead, she’s been quietly crafting the next installment of her project, which we expect to be just as fierce as this first taste.
Kern’s early spark was largely a product of in-store airplay. 80 Fenway was a consistent name on the All Access Retail Radio chart, and fans that discovered her this way will be pleased to know she still sits strong at the intersection of pop and fashion.
“All the girls and gays are screaming.” Kern shared, speaking about the songs early feedback. “See you next Tuesday will be your new motto for 2025.”
For a vibe that’s loud and proud, stream “CVNTY” on all major platforms starting February 14.
