Spanning nine meticulously crafted tracks, “Escape From Limbo” is a striking and dynamic EP that highlights the very best of Yoko’s multifaceted artistry. Reflecting on the project, Yoko shares “’Escape From Limbo’ was my exit out of a dark world of indecision. I wanted to use this EP like a map. I knew if I could overcome my need to be perfect, I could get to the next stage in my career and life. I was blessed to work with my fellow Toronto native 905Luca. We just wanted to sound like us and give the people an experience they’ve never felt before. A lot of this EP was made throughout the east coast of Canada. We went wherever our spirits lead us. Music should always be fun and that’s what we had making this project. I would like this music to speak to people who are just like me – going with the wind driving with no destination or expectation other than the pursuit of happiness in which I think is our God given right. I want people to know that fear is not an enemy. It is a motivator, a compass, and a guiding light ready to push you off the cliff.”

Exploring the video, Yoko reflects, “I manifested my life and everything in it. My mistakes make my success because I choose to look at them as motivation and not failures. Limbo is a choice. You can stay in it or escape it. This video conveys this overall message of choosing to follow the truth to get to the light.”
