When it comes to pushing boundaries and searching for the unprecedented, it’s difficult to find a UK festival with the nuance of Wide Awake. Augmenting their line-up and modus operandi each passing annum, the festival places emphasis on the avant-garde, as well as sustainability and equal gender splits.

We’ve just had news of the first wave of artists set to appear at South London’s Brockwell Park on 23rd May 2025. Headlining the event are Belfast trio Kneecap; cult favourites and fresh off the back of their superb sophomore record. Elsewhere, there’s country crooner CMAT, Mercury Prize victors English Teacher and revered electronic producer Daniel Avery. Also, amongst scores of other forward-thinking artists, included are garage punkers SPRINTS, Aussie legends Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and crank wave six-piece Ugly.
