If the closest you’ve ever gotten to feeling slightly Holly Golightly is a halloween costume, then listen on in. Your time is now, as the jewellers in blue are set to take over the sartorial London landmark, Selfridges, with an open-to-all gallery.

That’s right, you don’t have to wait for Christmas for the windows to be stellar as the iconic maison will feature the works of Damien Hirst, Rana Begum, Jason Bruges and James Righton to sit in the windows, that nod to the Tiffany Archives.

To mark Tiffany’s longstanding relationship with the art world, mark your calendars as the gallery pop-up takes place from 26th September to 20th October. That’s enough time to watch the 1961 hit film and read Truman Capote’s novel twice over.

Mapping the legacy of the high jewellers, from the visionary mind of Charles Lewis Tiffany to the modern leader the brand is today, the takeover honours the impact of Tiffany’s historic window displays, that have proven to be a tableau into the idyllic world of all things that sparkle.

As early as the 1950s, the window display artist Charles Gene Moore transformed Tiffany’s windows into head-turning attractions. Every fortnight for thirty-nine years, a new set of windows were curated to turn heads and welcome passers-by to delight in the magic behind the frames. Totalling a legacy of over 5,000 displays, each window was a canvas taking the viewer to another bejewelled universe.

So to honour the spectacle, head on down to the hubbub of Oxford Street to capture the magic. With guided gallery tour experiences open to the public on 27th September (from 11am to 6pm), guests will have the opportunity to embrace their inner Audrey Hepburn and pick up a Tiffany & Co. treat, all while experiencing the artistry with an audio-guided tour.

And as Golightly once said, “no matter where you run, you end up running into yourself.” We recommend running to the Duke Street Entrance of the shopping haven this weekend, and running along to Tiffany & Co. That’s you’ll run into the best version of yourself.
