Do you want to gaze beyond reality itself whilst enjoying some hard-hitting sonics? Well you’re in the right place. A truly unique and impressively thoughtful pageant of potency, “0’s & 1’s”—the new joint single from artists SIMSIMSOSA and TUNTU—provides a experience that traverses a singular sense, one that you enter deep within and explore in your own way.
It’s a mysterious project, with this website launching a “visionary independent record label” going live in parallel, and a grand one at that. The music itself is boisterous and expressive, forward-thinking in its production choices and immersive in its palette with both artists performing with dexterity and dominance. The video is best left without much description; the type of trip that you can only witness firsthand. Created by progressive polymath Oliver Asadi, the visual is a journey into an unfamiliar haven of simulation theory and quantum physics, peculiar and provoking in equal measure. Well, here goes.

Read the artist’s thoughts…
TUNTU, Artist, Founder – Unapologetic Music: I’d say the song hits on many topics, but mainly, the idea of a simulation theory. Our verses are non linear, allowing us to explore different ideas so we intentionally don’t stick to one point. You get some of your usual rap talk, the genre is competitive so you’ve got to talk your talk… but what SOSA brings to this is a cerebral take on being the best to do it. It’s pretty self explanatory from the first line “0’s & 1’s make up where I come from, I was born in 98 but knew in 0,1. that I’m taking what’s main cause I owe no one” almost insinuating he was born to do this… but I’ll let SOSA speak for himself self because I just hoped on his vibe for this one.
When it comes to me, other than the rap talk I’m doing on the track… I play on the idea of crime in low income communities, using the same matrix number system SOSA introduced, when I say… “1 n***a dead and 0 cases, a type of life you wouldn’t trade places, a type of life that affects all ages, a type of life that takes black races.” I’m addressing the harsh realities of this simulation.
The rest is for the listener’s imagination, I guess that’s what art is supposed to be, I honestly just think the orb was cool, probably taking us out of the programming into a new reality. that was Oliver Asadi ‘s genius idea
SIMSIMSOSA, Artist: Hundred percent what TUNTU said about simulation theory! The song was inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Nosetalgia as he uses numbers in his verse! As you see on my first verse there’s a lot of plays on 0’s & 1’s. ‘0’s and 1’s make up where I come from, I was born in 98 but know in 01, that I’m taking what’s mine cause I owe no one(01), I can speed the flow up a spit a slow one(01), machines in the matrix like 01’. But the song definitely involves themes of quantum physics, quantum jumping which is what the orb means for to me. We are on a journey to jump into the dimension/reality of our dreams.
