Bando Stone & The New World will also serve as the soundtrack and name for Donald Glover’s new original motion picture, teased yesterday on his personal Instagram. In the film, Glover stars as the main character, navigating a classic last-survivor-in-an-empty-world scenario until he meets a mother and her son. Together, they make their way through a dystopian society while struggling for survival — think monstrous animals and laser rays, with a layer of cheeky and heartfelt dialogue.
